High School Volleyball - Mt. Carmel Christian Academy can't hold off Freshman Opponent

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Freshman Opponent volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Warriors.

The (31-37) will now prepare for their battle against Mercy (Omaha, NE). The Monarchs come into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Mercy was edged by Millard South (Omaha, NE), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 23. Mt. Carmel Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Flames come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian (Rockingham, VA).
