Next, the Bulldogs confront the Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH) in a Licking County challenge, on Saturday, September 24. Heath will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Highland (Marengo, OH).

The Lancers now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host New Lexington for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 26. Lakewood will confront a Panthers team coming off a 12-0 league loss to West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 1-9.
