The Cherokee Trail Cougars softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Cherry Creek Bruins to 5 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Cherokee Trail improves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Cougars host Columbine (Littleton, CO) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Monday, September 26. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 4-1.
In their next game, the Bruins clash with the Grandview Wolves (Aurora, CO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 24. Cherry Creek will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Wolves come into the game with a 5-5 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO).
