California High School Volleyball - Maxwell over CORE Butte

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA) and the visiting CORE Butte Lynx (Chico, CA), saw Maxwell's volleyball squad beat CORE Butte by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Maxwell upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Panthers travel to Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA) to play the Braves in a bout on Tuesday, September 27. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Hamilton won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Biggs (Biggs, CA)

The Lynx now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Williams for a bout on Tuesday, September 27. CORE Butte will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-2.
