The South Brunswick Cougars volleyball team (Southport, NC), went down 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC)

The Pirates (12-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record.

Next, the Cougars encounter the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 26. South Brunswick will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Stallions enter the challenge with a 11-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC).
