With the loss, Massac County drops to 5-5 on the season. The Patriots host Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL) to meet the Golden Aces in a non-league test on Saturday, September 24. The Golden Aces come into the test with a record of 4-6. Mt. Carmel lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Richland County (Olney, IL)
