North Carolina High School Soccer - Corvian Community knocks off Sugar Creek

Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals confront the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. Corvian Community will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 8-0 league win over Carolina International (Concord, NC).

The Wildcats now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carolina International for a Metro Eight 1A challenge on Tuesday, September 27. Sugar Creek will confront a Comets team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to HOPE Academy (Concord, NC). The Comets record now stands at 0-8.
