Next, the Huskies confront the Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 24. Northwestern will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Tuslaw (Massillon, OH).

The Smithies now possess a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chippewa for a Wayne County challenge on Saturday, September 24. Smithville will confront a Chipps team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Hiland (Berlin, OH). The Chipps record now stands at 1-7.
