Bainbridge Bearcats (Bainbridge, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hardaway Hawks (Columbus, GA), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Bearcats now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Cairo for a 4A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, September 27. Bainbridge will battle a Syrupmakers squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Syrupmakers record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Hardaway falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Hawks host Shaw (Columbus, GA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 27. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 3-14. Shaw lost 27-7 in their recent league challenge against Westover (Albany, GA)
