Georgia High School Softball - Burke County falls to Wayne County

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Wayne County Yellow Jackets softball team scored a nice 16-0 win over the Burke County Bears.
Coming up next, the Yellow Jackets battle the Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 26. Wayne County will attempt to upgrade on its 15-1 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 13-6 record after their 10-0 league win over Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA).
The Bears (11-10) will now prepare for their outing against Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA). The Spartans enter the non-league outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Edmund Burke Academy was routed by Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA), 7-0, in a league outing.
