Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA), 9-3 in a league challenge.

The Wolverines now own a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gordon Lee for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 26. Dade County will face a Trojans squad coming off a 10-5 league win over LaFayette (LaFayette, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Darlington falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Model (Rome, GA) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 26. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 6-9. Model won 11-8 in their recent league challenge against North Murray (Chatsworth, GA)
