Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Madison County for a 4A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, September 27.

With the loss, East Forsyth falls to 13-8 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA) to battle the Bears in a 4A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, September 27. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 10-10. Cherokee Bluff won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Chestatee (Gainesville, GA)
