Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Sierra Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting Mitchell Marauders (Colorado Springs, CO), witnessed Sierra's softball squad tip Mitchell by a count of 1-0.

The Stallions now sport a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Gunnison for a non-league match on Saturday, September 24. Sierra will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO). The Cowboys record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Mitchell moves to 1-11 on the season. The Marauders travel to The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) to face the Titans in a 4A/3A CSML North match on Tuesday, September 27. The Titans go into the match with a record of 2-15. The Classical Academy lost 23-2 in their recent non-league match against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO)
