The Amherst County Lancers volleyball team (Amherst, VA), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA)

The Bulldogs (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Hilltoppers come into the Seminole challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Glass nudged Brookville (Lynchburg, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Lancers clash with the Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA) in a Seminole match, on Tuesday, September 27. Amherst County will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record.
