The Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE) volleyball overcame the visiting Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles (Bruning, NE), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Meridian upgrades its record to 12-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE) to face the Knights in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 27. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 3-12. Nebraska Lutheran won 2-1 in their recent league outing against Parkview Christian (Lincoln, NE)

The Eagles now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Southern for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 27. Bruning-Davenport/Shickley will face a Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Thayer Central (Hebron, NE). The Raiders record now stands at 3-13.
