The Carson Senators (Carson City, NV) volleyball were winner over the host Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV), 3-1 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Carson betters its record to 11-5 on the year. The Senators travel to Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA) to face the Raiders in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 24. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 17-3. Rio Americano won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Woodcreek (Roseville, CA)

The Tigers now sport a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Reno for a 5A North outing on Tuesday, September 27. Douglas will face a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 league win over McQueen (Reno, NV). The Huskies record now stands at 11-8.
