The Emerald Vikings volleyball team (Greenwood, SC), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Clinton Red Devils (Clinton, SC)
The Red Devils (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Batesburg-Leesville was dropped by Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Vikings meet the Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC) in a AAA Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Emerald will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record.
