The Seymour Eagles held off the host Cocke County Fighting Cocks volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 22-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greeneville for a non-league test on Monday, September 26. Seymour will confront a Green Devils team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Tennessee (Bristol, TN). The Green Devils record now stands at 20-5.
The Fighting Cocks (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN). The Black Knights enter the non-league test with a 4-10 record.
