The West Hall Spartans volleyball team (Oakwood, GA), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting East Hall Vikings (Gainesville, GA)

The Vikings (16-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Jaguars enter the 4A Area 8 challenge with a 3-22 record.

Next, the Spartans meet the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) in a 3A Area 7 challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. West Hall will attempt to move on its 1-26 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 5-19 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Calhoun (Calhoun, GA).
