Ohio High School Volleyball - Firestone over North

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Firestone Falcons (Akron, OH) and the host North Vikings (Akron, OH), saw Firestone's volleyball squad beat North by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Firestone upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Falcons host Garfield Heights (Garfield Heights, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 24. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Garfield Heights lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Maple Heights (Maple Heights, OH)

The Vikings now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host East Canton for a non-league bout on Monday, September 26. North will play a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Conotton Valley (Bowerston, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 0-12.
