The Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) volleyball overcame the visiting Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.
With the win, Franklin County upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Eagles host Cosby (Midlothian, VA) to face the Titans in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 24. The Titans go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Cosby won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA)
The Colonels now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lord Botetourt for a Blue Ridge outing on Tuesday, September 27. Fleming will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-3.
