North Carolina High School Volleyball - Gray's Creek over Purnell Swett

In Thursday's league contest, the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Bears face the Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A contest, on Tuesday, September 27. Gray's Creek will attempt to better on its 14-1 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 2-13 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Hoke County (Raeford, NC).

With the loss, Purnell Swett moves to 6-10 on the year. The Rams host Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to face the Colts in a United Eight 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, September 27. The Colts go into the contest with a record of 10-3. Cape Fear won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC)
