The Merion Mercy Academy Golden Bears volleyball team (Merion Station, PA), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Gwynedd Mercy Academy Monarchs (Gwynedd Valley, PA)

The Monarchs (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Perkiomen Valley (Collegeville, PA). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Perkiomen Valley went down by Methacton (Norristown, PA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Golden Bears encounter the Agnes Irwin Owls (Rosemont, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 24. Merion Mercy Academy will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 league loss to Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA).
