Virginia High School Volleyball - Patrick County over Halifax County

Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Bassett Bengals (Bassett, VA) in a Piedmont match, on Tuesday, September 27. Patrick County will attempt to advance on its 11-2 season record. The Bengals come into the match with a 7-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA).

With the loss, Halifax County drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Comets host Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA) to battle the Warriors in a Piedmont match on Tuesday, September 27. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 7-6. Magna Vista lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Bassett (Bassett, VA)
