The King Academy Knights held off the host Newberry Academy volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Knights now have a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anderson Christian for a SCISA A Region I test on Monday, September 26. King Academy will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Newberry Academy (Newberry, SC). The Lions record now stands at 2-8.

The (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Greenwood Christian (Greenwood, SC). The Hawks enter the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Greenwood Christian was nudged by First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest (Greenville, SC), 3-1, in a league test.
