The Lynden Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Nooksack Valley Pioneers to 1 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.

The Lions now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Curtis for a non-league game on Saturday, September 24. Lynden will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league win over South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 10-2.

The Pioneers (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Blaine (Blaine, WA). The Borderites enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Blaine was dropped by Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA), 3-2, in a league game.
