The M.L. King Lions volleyball team (Lithonia, GA), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA)

The Mustangs (20-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Stone Mountain was dropped by Clarkston (Clarkston, GA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions encounter the Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA) in a 5A Area 4 bout, on Tuesday, September 27. M.L. King will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over North Springs (Atlanta, GA).
