The Port Jefferson Royals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Shelter Island Islanders to 0 in the Royals non-league victory on Thursday.
The Royals now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Longwood for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 28.
The Islanders (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Mattituck (Mattituck, NY). The Tuckers enter the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Mattituck defeated Babylon (Babylon, NY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
