South Carolina High School Volleyball - Union County tips Woodruff

September 22, 2022: Woodruff, SC 29388

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) and the host Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC), saw Union County's volleyball squad nip Woodruff by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Union County upgrades its record to 6-8 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Clinton (Clinton, SC) to play the Red Devils in a AAA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, September 27. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 10-1.

The Wolverines now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they travel to Laurens for a non-league bout on Monday, September 26. Woodruff will play a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Eastside (Taylors, SC). The Raiders record now stands at 0-9.
