The Freeport Falcons football team (Freeport, ME), was beaten 22-2 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Poland Knights (Poland, ME)
The Knights (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wells (Wells, ME). The Warriors come into the D South challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Wells was beaten by Cheverus (Portland, ME), 26-20, in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Hill for a D South challenge on Saturday, September 30. Freeport will meet a Raiders team coming off a 20-12 league win over Winthrop/Monmouth Academy/Hall-Dale (Winthrop, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.
