The Hartselle Tigers (Hartselle, AL) football edged the visiting Gadsden City Titans (Gadsden, AL), 31-28 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 29. Hartselle will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 40-6 league win over Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL).

The Titans (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Patriots enter the non-league bout with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Hillcrest nudged Brookwood (Brookwood, AL), 56-6, in a league bout.
