Pennsylvania High School Football - Northwestern Lehigh trounces Lehighton

September 22, 2023: New Tripoli, PA 18066

In Friday's league match, the host Northwestern Lehigh Tigers football squad scored a big 49-0 victory over the Lehighton Indians.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - Gold match, on Friday, September 29. Northwestern Lehigh will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 21-9 league win over Pottsville (Pottsville, PA).

The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Blue Mountain (Schuylkill Haven, PA). The Eagles enter the Colonial-Schuylkill - Gold match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Blue Mountain was crushed by Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA), 41-12, in a league match.
