Texas High School Football - Martin topples South San Antonio

September 22, 2023: Laredo, TX 78040

The Martin Tigers (Laredo, TX) football defeated the visiting South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX), 37-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Cigarroa Toros (Laredo, TX) in a 5A-1 Region IV District 13 bout, on Friday, September 29. Martin will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Toros enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 10-7 league loss to Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX).

The Bobcats (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Southside (San Antonio, TX). The Cardinals enter the 5A-1 Region IV District 13 bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Southside defeated Medina Valley (Castroville, TX), 21-17, in a league bout.
