The St. Michael Catholic Cardinals held off the visiting Gulf Shores Dolphins volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cardinals now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gulf Breeze for a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. St. Michael Catholic will confront a Dolphins team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL). The Dolphins record now stands at 10-2.
The Dolphins (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Baker (Mobile, AL). The Hornets enter the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Baker was nudged by Daphne (Daphne, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
