The JV Opponent volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Pensacola Area Homeschool Phoenix to 0 in the non-league victory on Friday.
The now possess a 48-111 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maryville Christian for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. JV Opponent will meet a Lions team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.

In a rematch of their first game of the season, the JV Phoenix team managed to improve their overall result by several points, while missing three key players, including both of their regular setters, their best front row defender and their best back row defender! With a nearly flawless serving game, the team unfortunately could have had an even better result if they had been moving on the court faster. Hesitancy cost them significantly in this match.
