Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT), 4-3 in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Gilbert Yellowjackets (Winsted, CT) in a Berkshire challenge, on Monday, September 25. Shepaug Valley will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record.
