The Northwood Temple Academy Eagles held off the visiting Village Christian Academy Knights soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's league match.
The Eagles now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berean Baptist Academy for a NCISAA Sandhills battle on Tuesday, September 26. Northwood Temple Academy will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-7.
The Knights (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Fayetteville Christian (Fayetteville, NC). The Warriors go into the NCISAA Sandhills battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Fayetteville Christian nipped Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.
