The Woodward Boomers softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Bethany Bronchos to 3 in the Boomers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Woodward improves its record to 21-12 on the year.

In their next game, the Bronchos clash with the Perry Maroons (Perry, OK) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 25. Bethany will attempt to improve on its 17-14 season record. The Maroons come into the game with a 31-6 record after their 21-0 league win over Kingston (Kingston, OK).
