The Akins Eagles volleyball team (Austin, TX), was dropped 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Del Valle Cardinals (Del Valle, TX)

The Cardinals (5-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Tigers enter the 6A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 37-3 record. In their last challenge, Dripping Springs defeated Bowie (Austin, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Akins will attempt to move on its 4-21 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 17-19 record after their 3-1 league loss to Anderson (Austin, TX).
