The Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Shepherd Pirates to 0 in the Fighting Owls league victory on Friday.

The Fighting Owls now possess a 22-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crockett for a 3A Region III District 23 game on Tuesday, September 26. Anderson-Shiro will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Trinity (Trinity, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-13.

The Pirates (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Tarkington (Cleveland, TX). The Longhorns enter the 3A Region III District 23 game with a 19-14 record. In their last game, Tarkington defeated Onalaska (Onalaska, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
