In Friday's non-league battle, the host Assabet Valley RVT Aztecs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Marlborough Panthers.

The Aztecs (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Advanced Math & Science Academy (Marlborough, MA). The Eagles come into the Colonial battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Advanced Math & Science Academy achieved victory over Keefe Tech (Framingham, MA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett B battle, on Monday, September 25. Marlborough will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA).
