Texas High School Volleyball - Burton over Mumford

The Burton Panthers (Burton, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting Mumford Mustangs (Mumford, TX), 3-1 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Burton upgrades its record to 22-15 on the year. The Panthers host Richards (Richards, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 26. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 18-10. Richards won 3-0 in their recent league outing against North Zulch (North Zulch, TX)

The Mustangs now own a 22-8 record. They play next when they host Snook for a 2A Region IV District 25 outing on Tuesday, September 26. Mumford will play a Bluejays squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Aggieland HomeSchool (College Station, TX). The Bluejays record now stands at 7-8.
