In Friday's league battle, the visiting Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Jasper Bulldogs.

The Bears (19-13) will now prepare for their battle against West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX). The Mustangs come into the 4A Region III District 19 battle with a 0-14 record. In their last battle, West Orange-Stark went down by Silsbee (Silsbee, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Bridge City Cardinals (Bridge City, TX) in a 4A Region III District 19 battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Jasper will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Cardinals come into the battle with a 21-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Lumberton (Lumberton, TX).
