The Morton Grove Academy Crescents prevailed the visiting Unity Christian Academy Phoenix volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's league test.
The Crescents now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hinsdale Adventist Academy for a Metro Prep test on Tuesday, September 26. Morton Grove Academy will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 2-0 league win over College Prep of America (Lombard, IL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 5-1.
The Phoenix (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, Elmwood Park gained a win over Ridgewood (Norridge, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
