Virginia High School Volleyball - Virginia Episcopal School overwhelmed by New Covenant

In Friday's league battle, the visiting New Covenant Gryphons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops.

The Gryphons (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA). The Flames come into the VISAA Blue Ridge battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Eastern Mennonite lost by St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bishops clash with the Foxcroft None (Middleburg, VA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 28. Virginia Episcopal School will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The None come into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Randolph-Macon Academy (Front Royal, VA).
