Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA) and the visiting Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA), observed Folsom's volleyball team top Whitney by a count of 2-0.

The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Golden Eagles enter the contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Del Oro was knocked off by St. Francis (Sacramento, CA), 2-1, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) in a battle, on Wednesday, September 24. Whitney will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Grizzlies go into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Rocklin (Rocklin, CA).
