The Futures Knights edged the host Encina Bulldogs flag football team by a score of 18-12 in Monday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the Foresthill Wildfires (Foresthill, CA) in a Sierra Delta League challenge, on Wednesday, September 24. Futures will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Wildfires enter the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 20-7 league win over Leroy Greene Academy (Sacramento, CA).

With the loss, Encina falls to 2-8 on the year. The Bulldogs host Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA) to face the Mavericks in a Sierra Delta League outing on Monday, September 29. The Mavericks come into the outing with a record of 6-3. Mesa Verde lost 13-6 in their recent league outing against Foresthill (Foresthill, CA)
