The Ponderosa Bruins flag football squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Rio Americano Raiders to 7 in the Bruins league triumph on Monday.
The Bruins now sport a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Vista del Lago for a test on Thursday, September 25. Ponderosa will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 25-0 non-league win over Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
The Raiders (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Inderkum (Sacramento, CA). The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Inderkum was edged by Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA), 6-0, in a non-league challenge.
