In Monday's non-league outing, the host Cordova Wolves soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 win over the Overton Wolverines.
The Wolves (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bolton (Arlington, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Bolton by Kirby (Memphis, TN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to White Station for a AAA District 16 test on Wednesday, September 24. Overton will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to St. George's (Collierville, TN). The Spartans record now stands at 3-3.
