In Monday's non-league match, the host St. Francis Red Raiders football team scored a nice 20-8 win over the Canisius Crusaders.

In their next game, the Red Raiders play the Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 29. St. Francis will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.

The Crusaders (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY). The Marauders go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute was dropped by Jamestown (Jamestown, NY), 46-35, in a non-league test.
